Where Love Goes words and music: Nancy Magarill Well it was 20 past three and I was goin' on the 5th night in a row... I was foolin' with the blinds when I caught you two boys givin' it a go,,, well it's not really my style, but I learned something out there in the shadows... it doesn't matter what you like 'cause love goes where love goes Now I'm not one to watch but I admit you both kept me intrigued... I was touched by your emotions...drawn in like I was solving a mystery... there was the smallest hint of blue, that covered me out there in the shadows... and it unveiled the simple truth, that love goes where love goes the way you hold each other, you touch each other, you kiss each other and make love to each other, you prob'ly get mad at each other and cry all night for each other and you blame each other, forgive each other too... just like I do Well, I confess that I've been ignorant dressing up in someone else's heels... and I've stormed and I've paraded with all the doors and all the windows sealed... but you gave me one good lesson last night, while out there in the shadows... that I'm no judge of what's wrong and what's right 'cause love goes where love goes. |
